Excel was little quirky in that it crashed a lot until I made a couple tweaks I read about in the Office Community pages. However, I'm upgrading to this week simply because the mainstream support of is expiring this fall Oct It was typically easy to install and it allowed me to keep my Office version without any problems.

Converting my old jspreadsheets to the format was easy but I strongly recommend saving any Excel sheets in the format xlsm macro enabled because until I did that all my docs would freeze up and Excel just crashed every time I opened a doc. I gave Word a quick test drive and it seems fine. I really really like the easy of inserting tables.

I've yet to try Word out on any of my larger docs page novel, for example but I don't foresee any troubles. Overall, I like it but I still am upgrading. I recently purchased a new computer and needed to get at bare minimum, excel, and word since I use those a lot in my personal computing.

Well, more excel than word. I Use word for printing mailing labels more than anything. Still needed excel and the version on the old computer was pre ! I do have a small netbook that I take with me at times when visiting friends and while the pre version works, thought that at some point I may want to upgrade that.

I'm retired and use these for my own personal time and in no way use this stuff for a business, so I didn't want to buy the Washington Monument to be able to use the sidewalk leading to it. I also didn't want to rent the top floor of the Empire State Buildling to be able to see the view one time, so I was not interest in the cloud Versions. I have no need to keep up with the neighbors on software.

As long as it fits my needs of current, I'm hapy. This purchase was perfect. Price was well within my budget and it allows it to be loaded on 3 of my computers. My wife has a laptop, but doesn't really use excel or word, but I may load this on that so that when I'm using her computer, I would have what I have on my PC.

Top Notch purchase, Top Notch Company to order it from. I am completely happy with my purchase and will visit this company for any future needs. Purchased this for my new laptop that only came with a trial version of MO Remember when computers used to come with all the complete software you needed? Apparently, no more! I did not opt for the for a couple of reasons. The company I work for uses and I wanted my documents to be compatible.

Everything I was reading was saying there was little difference so why pay more? I am only experiencing one problem with this purchase. Very disappointing as I am sure many people have need of it along with the M How can I reactivate it?

Do I have to buy a new version? If you just bought a new PC that "came with" Office, the installed Office was only a free trial, not a paid for permanent licensed version office. You will have to buy a license, called a "Product Key" to make it work. There are 2 types of license you can buy. One comes with the installation CD, the other is just the Product key alone. Both have exactly the same features in the applications.

The difference between the 2 types is that depending on the version of Office you buy the CD one may give you the right to install it and have it running on up to 3 machines at once and in the future you will be allowed to transfer this license to your next PC or sell it to someone. The Product Key only, whether you buy it as a "Card" in a store or as a number from an online store, is slightly cheaper but it will only allow you to install it on one PC and you will NOT be allowed to ever move it to another PC.
